About

Hi and welcome to my website. If you’re on this page I assume you’re interested to hear what this website is all about.

I’m Petar and I’ve started building niche websites back in the summer of 2009. Later on I’ve also bought few websites and domains, built new websites, sold a few, failed with some,
abandoned some others and so on.

Along the way I learned a thing or two about building, scaling and flipping websites, and on this website I plan to write about my experience and share a few tips. It will also help me track my own progress and make me accountable on certain projects.

Below you can read a bit more about my experience.

As I said I started back in 2009 and that was after a friend recommended me to follow the 30 days challenge, a series of Youtube videos about earning the first dollar online with niche websites, created by Ed Dale.

First two websites that I’ve built I actually started with another friend to whom I suggested to follow the course along with me.

After few months we saw first dollars rolling in which gave me hope that there’s potential in these niche websites.

Despite that initial small momentum we saw, other commitments got in the way, we abandoned the websites and eventually let them expire.

However, once my eyes saw that there’s potential in this I knew I have to get back try again. And I did.

In 2010 I started again with niche websites, but this time on my own. I started few websites but all of them failed! The niches I selected were weak, besides that some of these sites were hit by the Penguin google update.

In 2011 I started few other websites. One of these were my first big success. At its peak this website was getting around 16k unique visitors each day.

In 2012 I started another successful website. This one grew to around 20k unique visitors by early 2018.

In 2012 and 2013 few other websites were started. Two of them were making some profit but I realized the niches were too competitive and I wasn’t making too much progress with them. I ended up selling one in 2017 and the other one in 2018.

In 2014 I did buy a few domains but put more of my focus on developing Android apps.

In 2015 I bough an affiliate site which I eventually sold. I gonna write more about it in the following posts.

End of 2016 I started few other Amazon affiliate websites which I still hold.

In 2017 I bought an expired domain which was still ranking for certain keyword. I’m currently working on it and plan to sell it sometimes in 2020.

In 2018 few of my bigger sites got hit by the Medic update. In March 2019 there was another update which recovered some of the traffic. I took certain steps in order to revive them, which I plan to write about.

End of 2018 I bought 4 new sites.

Currently I have 11 websites in my portfolio that I’m working on.

Around 12 more domains and sites that are on stand-by (I’m not updating them).
